This stabiliser will be replaced by the stabiliser with item number PP200, which comes with a TTG (type approval certificate, comparable to a general terms and conditions document).

Stabilizer bar with 22 mm diameter for VW Polo 86c 2f / 86c / 86 / 4-speed and 5-speed

Together with H&R, Pogo Performance has developed a 22mm stabilizer bar (instead of the standard 18mm) that significantly improves the handling of the Polo 86/86C in the following ways:

Reduced body roll
Significant improvement in directional stability
Reduced tendency to sway over bumps
More stable cornering behavior
More neutral handling
By constructively increasing the gap between the stabilizer bar and the engine block by 30 mm, the known Restriction for manifolds and downpipes eliminated

The stabilizer bar fits the following vehicles:

VW Polo 86 1 / Audi 50 (1974 - 1980)
VW Polo 86c 2 (1981 - 1990)
VW Polo 86c 2f (1991 - 1994)
Suitable for 084 (4-speed) and 085 (5-speed) transmission types

Please note that the points mentioned For vehicles with already heavily modified suspensions, a differentiated approach is necessary.

The vehicle height remains unchanged after replacing the stabilizer bar.

OEM part number of the original stabilizer bar: 867 411 309 A (for comparison only)

The stabilizer bar is installed on the vehicle using a plug-and-play system.

Please note that you will need a stabilizer bar mount for a 22mm diameter on the vehicle body. We offer these here. The outer mount on the control arm is original.
