Founded in 1936, the NGK brand initially took inspiration from the Japanese ceramics industry to develop high quality spark plugs for passenger cars.

NGK is represented worldwide with its production facilities and sales offices. The products meet all the requirements of automobile manufacturers.

NGK is also active as a sponsor in automobile sports and is therefore particularly involved in Formula 1 races and the World Rally Championship (WRC). Through this involvement, especially in technological innovation, the knowledge acquired during the races is adapted to series production.
